BloodStor® 55-5
Optimized biopreservation reagent for hematopoietic cells and tissues
BloodStor® is a series of generic cGMP freeze media products used to cryopreserve stem cells and other cells isolated from umbilical cord blood, peripheral blood, bone marrow, and other biologics. All BloodStor® products are formulated using USP grade components and water for injection (WFI) quality water. BloodStor® 55-5 is pre-formulated with 55% (w/v) DMSO USP, 5% (w/v) Dextran-40 USP, and WFI quality water.

HypoThermosol® FRS is an optimized hypothermic (2 - 8°C) preservation media that enables improved and extended preservation of cells, tissues and organs. HypoThermosol® FRS is uniquely formulated to address the molecular-biological response of cells during the hypothermic preservation process. HypoThermosol® FRS includes key ions at concentrations that balance the intracellular state at hypothermic temperatures. Additional components include pH buffers, energy substrates, free radical scavengers, and osmotic/oncotic stabilizers.

Media for thawing human cells and tissues following cryopreservation
We provide Cell Thawing Media products for thawing human cells and tissues following cryopreservation. The Cell Thawing media are manufactured per cGMP guidelines, using USP components, Water for Injection (WFI) quality water, and are subject to release criteria including sterility per USP <71>, endotoxin per USP <85>, pH, osmolality, and appearance for no visible particulates.
BioLife Cell Thawing Media 10% Dextran 40 is available in two formats; in 0.9% NaCl and in 5% Dextrose.
